Compositions of rigid motions
Printable practice with an answer key the engine computes, at three levels, in as many versions as you need.
Problem types
- a translation and a reflection over an axis: A(1, 2) by ⟨3, −2⟩, then over the x-axis: A″
- a glide reflection: A(1, 2) by ⟨4, 0⟩, then over the x-axis: A″
- two reflections: A(1, 2) over the x-axis, then over the y-axis: A″
- a rotation, then a translation: A(1, 2) turned 90°, then by ⟨3, −2⟩: A″
- a triangle through two moves, one vertex asked: △ABC over the x-axis, then by ⟨2, 3⟩: B″
