Tangents, chords and secants
Printable practice with an answer key the engine computes, at three levels, in as many versions as you need.
Problem types
- a tangent and its radius (a right angle): OA = 5, PA = 12, OP = ?
- two tangents from one point (equal): PA = 3x + 4, PB = 5x − 8
- two chords that cross (the products of their parts): AE = 6, EB = ?, CE = 4, ED = 9
- a secant and a tangent, or two secants (outside part times whole): PT = 6, PA = 4, AB = ?
